After the great day out Matthew Slade and his family had (Cardiff Home) we have decided to forge stronger links with PACT.

Having spoken to Beryl (the boss down at PACT central) and discussed how we can best help PACT we've decided to go down the Season Ticket route.

According to Beryl a massive way for us to help is to give the families, not just the kids involved in having treatment, but their parents and siblings...give them a treat sort of thing.

Often they've been through the mill a bit, their brothers and sisters have seen a whirlwind of stuff going on around them, loads of attention away from them....and of course, the kids that ARE having treatment have been through shit loads themselves...

If we can provide them with a way of getting to the footy for free, Beryl reckons it could be a right tonic for all the family.

Now it may be that it isn't going to be used every week by families and I....on behalf of Owls Alive....said straight away that none of us would have any problem at all with staff using the tickets.

NONE.

I'd like to think that if/when a family did use the tickets, we could maybe meet them...if I'm not available then I hope...I KNOW, others from Owls Alive could...maybe take them on the ground tour beforehand. (This would involve us chipping in again if the cost is still a fiver a head, but I don't see it as a problem TBH)

Of course the double whammy for us as Wednesday fans here is that by providing this, we're helping the club as well...in a very small insignificant way.

I've had loads of offers of cash from you all, which is appreciated and I don't know if we can reach this target but I'd like to see if we can get...

Like I say, I don't know if that's possible for such a small board as this and I'd need to ask Lee Strafford if we can get these without names attached to them and the Under 8 ticket for free as well obviously.

IT'S VERY EASY to pay through PAYPAL...please don't be put off by it as I believe it's the best way and it's the safest...it also protects me a bit. (Unless some of you money guru's want to tell me otherwise)

Sometimes they need help with other stuff...hands on stuff...
I've told Beryl that if they need anything...whether it's hands on....a bit of muscle.....tickets or what have you...in fact ANYTHING.

She should ask.

I'll put it up on the messageboard and if we can help we will....if not then I'll tell her...but there's no harm in asking is there?

If we reach the initial target easily then I'd like us to be able to continue on towards the £1000 mark and provide the same Season Ticket for Matthew and one of his family.

I realise all this is a huge ask....BUT....

I think we have a great chance for this tiny message board to make a big difference to a lot of folk....I know, and it was confirmed by Beryl, how much Matthew and his family enjoyed what we did at the Cardiff game...I hope we can repeat that for others.
